Nicole Oswell

My father spent 4 very long days in ICU.  Nicole was his day nurse. Nicole demonstrated the skills to be a very professional nurse. Not just the technical skills, but the interpersonal skills too.  Every request was attended to with a smile. She has full knowledge of the UCLA Health System and helped us with all our questions every step of the way. My father was treated like he was Nicole's only patient. She has an excellent rapport with her teammates and whenever help was needed she was there to support everyone. She never talked down to anyone and always treated her patients and coworkers with dignity and respect. There's an old saying, "if you looked up nurse in the dictionary there would be a picture of Nicole."  I would not hesitate one minute to recommend Nicole for a high level position where she can share her skills with others. She is definitely a take charge person with a good level head on her shoulders. Nicole does not fall apart in an emergency situation; she is always in control and is a calming influence to those around her. Nicole is an "extraordinary registered nurse" and I recommend her for a bouquet of DAISY Awards. She made our UCLA experience very positive and is an excellent representative of the UCLA Team!
