Nicole Severson

Nicole is a certified pediatric nurse and an expert in her field.  She also cross trained and floats to Post Partum.  She fills in as relief charge and mentors newer nurses.  She does all this with a smile.  Nicole compassionately develops relationships with her patients and families and gently guides them through their hospitalization.  She is a great team member who often has ideas on solving a problem or arranging an assignment so patients are cared for in the best way.

Recently she made a special trip downstairs to Nuclear Medicine to help our colleagues in surgical services place a difficult IV in a 34 day old patient.  She does not hesitate ever to do what needs done for anybody who needs it.  What a joy to work with Nicole.
