Noelani Sutton

Noelani (Noley) Sutton, RN truly exceeds the standard for compassionate nursing care.  The excellent care she provides during her day to day interactions with patients makes her a very deserving DAISY AWARD NURSE.

Noley was nominated by a patient, who relayed a heartfelt description of the wonderful nursing care that was provided to her by Noley when she was hospitalized following an accident that resulted in a broken pelvis.  This patient described many instances where Noley’s patience and compassion came shining through.  While the patient experienced severe pain and nausea, Noley’s calm and reassuring demeanor helped her pull through.  The patient even noticed the kind and caring manner Noley displayed while caring for another patient across the hall.  It is truly the little things that matter, from Noley going back to unit to get the patient a clean pair of socks after they got wet from the rain on the day of discharge, to the big hug she gave the patient when she said goodbye. 

Noley is a DAISY Nurse whose extraordinary and compassionate care touched this patient’s life in a very meaningful way.
