Patricia Siemer

Patricia was nominated by a patient, a Security Officer at TCH who, after a series of "mini heart attacks" was struck with the big one before and during an endoscopy procedure... Nurse Siemer came over to me in post endoscopy and after looking at my vital signs and an attentive observation of the pain in my face, asked me "What's going on with you?" I broke down and told her of my present symptoms and what had been taking place over the past two weeks....she insisted that I have an EKG after which I was transported to the Emergency Room, Nurse Siemer at my side. The cardiologist came in and told me they would take me right over to the cath lab. When I awoke, they advised me that I had suffered a major heart attack, that it was a close call and that they had implanted a stent in a completely closed artery. I am not exactly sure what will happen next in my life and I live life "one day at a time". I believe with all my heart that God places us right where He wants us to be at all times. I truly believe that Nurse Siemer was placed exactly where she was supposed to be at the right time to help me. I would like Nurse Siemer to receive formal recognition for her keen observations and devotion to me as her patient. She is "my little angel".
