Penny Elkins
Penny Elkins worked all day Easter Sunday. She missed out on being with her daughter for the holiday. Penny couldn’t wait to get home. She had discharged a patient and realized that the patient had forgotten a bag of belongings. Instead of going straight home, she drove to Millington, TN to deliver the patient’s personal belongings to her. Penny thinks nothing of going that extra mile for her patients. I believe she should be recognized for being extraordinary.
