"Pipa took care of me my 1st day after my hysterectomy.  She was kind, yet firm.  She insisted that I get out of bed and walk.  She said it would be the best thing for me and it was.  She knew what she was talking about because she had undergone the same surgery and so many more.  Pipa is a tough woman with so much experience with pain and recovery.  She has genuine empathy and understanding and is not afraid to let her feelings show.  But her feelings do not get in the way.  They help her do her job better.  She continued to check on me and encourage me even when I was no longer her patient.  Pipa is a treasure.  A rare breed of nurse.  She has skill, intellect and heart.  I adore her."
