Rekha Narendra Kumar

Rekha is a wonderful asset to this hospital. Not a week goes by without patients taking time to tell us what great care Rekha gave them.  Rekha spends a great deal of time building relationships with her patients and always willing to help the team.  Rekha is a great resource to the unit especially new nurses yet she is self depreciating and never looks for praise or kudos, she always looks surprised when someone comments how great she is!  Whether the patient load is heavy or not Rekha can be seen with a smile on her face and a great attitude which is infectious.  Rekha shows that unique effort that sets Providence Park nurses apart from anybody else.

Recently Rekha volunteered to care for a patient who other nurses had found it very difficult to please due to both her condition and personality, Rekha built a rapport with the patient and managed to build a relationship that no one else had been able to achieve.  It is her kind and empathetic attitude that sets her apart from the rest.
