Rondi Mitchell
In nominating her for the DAISY Award, Rondi’s supervisor said that Rondi provides service to the most vulnerable individuals at the most dangerous time in their recovery ─ the transition to home. The respect she shows the patients is awe inspiring. She is their mother, advocate, caregiver and often the only person who cares enough about them to call in the evening when it is quiet and they are alone and afraid.
