Sarah Winger
I received a phone call from a sister of a patient on CICU. She wanted to nominate 2 nurses for the DAISY Award. She went on to tell me now Sarah went above and beyond not only where the patient was concerned but for the family as well. He was Sarah’s patient 2 days. She went as far as to call the hospital after she went home from working her 12 hour shift to check on patient and family. The sister of this patient informed me she works in home health care and has worked with many nurses and is sure Sarah Winger is in this field for all the right reasons. We are lucky to have the GOOD ones.
