Scott Gobrogge

Recently I was a patient in the Clarian North ED. My nurse, Scott was very caring, calm and pleasant. He really put me at ease and did his duties so efficiently that I never worried. He asked my wife about the room temperature, to make sure I was comfortable. He realized I was anxious and got help for me. He always seemed to be thinking ahead. He explained every procedure and what info it would provide the doctor, which gave both my wife and myself a great deal of comfort. Compassionate and competent describe him. A true professional in every sense of the word. 

Scott’s passion is front-line bedside patient care. His warm, compassionate personality is augmented by his extensive clinical knowledge, giving our patients the very best care possible. Scott is attentive to his patients, and he advocates for their needs. Within the department, Scott is a team player, assisting his coworkers without question or complaint. He sets a humorous, cooperative tone when he is in the unit. As an associate, he is a role model for the Maxims, having a deep respect for all associates within Clarian, connecting fully by learning their names and greeting them as he interacts within the facility. He is a kind and caring individual, who exemplifies the DAISY nurse qualities. He is very deserving of this recognition.
