Shona continually puts forth a caring and proficient attitude toward her work and her patients. She serves as a preceptor on her unit. She makes sure the nurse’s questions are answered. If she does not know the answer, she researches it or asks the educators.
She evens comes in on her day off to be part of a Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. She has volunteered to help with research for the IRB committee. She did this research on her own time.
As an educator, I truly appreciate her eagerness to learn and all of her hard work as a preceptor. As a friend I appreciate all the times she took a few minutes of her time, just to listen.
