If anyone has ever met Stef, they know she is the most caring, sincere, and educated nurse. I have never ever heard her say one cross word about anyone. Every patient she comes in contact with, she treats like family. She always gets down on the patient’s level to explain what’s going on. I know she has a lot of stress in her life right now because her husband is overseas, but you could never tell it. Even if it’s time for her to leave, she almost always stays with her patient because she feels a connection and she believes it’s the right thing to do. Stefenie deserves this award. If I had to tell all the good things about her I would need 10 more pages of paper.
Stefenie is one of the sweetest people I have ever known. She is always cheerful and smiling with a contagious laugh. I have never heard her speak negatively of anyone. She never lets stress interfere with her job performance. One co-worker has even nicknamed her “Angel”, a name she has earned. Stefenie is without a doubt, an angel among us!
Stefenie is always willing to go the extra mile for patients and co-workers. I was put on a 24-hour heart monitor and needed to go have it taken off, but I was on call and unable to find someone to cover for me those few hours. Stef stepped in as an RN and covered my OR Tech call for several hours. She is truly a caring, loving, and competent RN.
