Stephanie Neblock

Stephanie has been a nurse for 2 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).  She was nominated for the DAISY Award by a family of an infant with a grave medical illness (neuroblastoma), a diagnosis that one of Stephanie’s own daughter’s shares.  In the nomination, the family wrote:

   “ I would think it would be very difficult to deal with a family experiencing the same tragic circumstances that she had at home, however, Stephanie was a wealth of knowledge, always eager to answer questions.  She was also caring and compassionate and showed my husband and me that with a positive attitude and some strength, we can get through this. Through her actions and words she showed us just how much of a blessing it is to have our daughter in our lives and to take things one day at a time”.
