Stephen Hough

Steve is one of the most compassionate nurses I have ever worked with.  During the time Steve has worked on 6SAC numerous patients and family members have requested he take care of them.  As his team leader, I have been called to the room to hear the rave reviews about Steve’s extraordinary care and how he made a difference for them that day. 

Coworkers know Steve is a reliable buddy and are comfortable seeking his help and advice.  He is always ready to graciously lend a hand and with a smile.  Steve never hesitates to change assignments or pick up that extra patient during his shift. During a crisis, Steve is always a calm, caring advocate for his patient.  Even when a coworker’s patient is unstable, Steve will be there to facilitate what is best for the patient.

 It is always a pleasure to work with Steve.  His compassion for his patients is unlimited.  His passion for his work and the caring attitude for his coworkers is astounding.  Not a day goes by on our busy unit that someone doesn’t  compliment Steve for his calm, caring demeanor.  He is a truly an extraordinary nurse who makes a big difference in the lives of his patients.
