Susan Mc Donald

      Sue collaborates with all members of the healthcare team in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.  She is motivated, self-directed, and does not hesitate to pitch in and help others without being asked.  Sue is diligent with ensuring that the staff meets our quality goals such as compliance with Smart Pumps, Core Measures, PUP, fall prevention strategies, and she is our unit representative on the Clinical Practice Committee.

      Sue is able to prioritize effectively in an often hectic and demanding work environment.  She is a great patient advocate, teacher, and mentor for all our staff.

       I am pleased that Sue has been recognized by her peers as this month’s recipient of the DAISY Award.  She exhibits excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and exemplary service.  A1 is fortunate to have her on staff!
