Taghreed Salman – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology – KFNCCC – Solid Tumor Section

There are so many examples of Taghreed’s passion and dedication to her work that it would be hard to outline them all here.  She is the Nurse Co-coordinator for the very sick children with cancer (mostly solid tumors).   She communicates with the families and is really the voice and representation of the Hospital as she helps them navigate complex treatment plans and surgeries.  She is always polite and kind despite a very busy and hectic schedule and tries to maintain the “Patient First” practice.

Even outside of her designated work day, many times, at the expense of her personal time and family, Taghreed continues to coordinate care for the patients who are sick and require urgent attention particularly those outside of Riyadh.

She is the glue that allows our area to work well.  I am sure that there are many such excellent nurses here at KFSH&RC but I felt strongly that she be recognized for her selfless contribution to our institution.
