Therese Koubsky

“I feel this nomination is long overdue. Therese Koubsky consistently goes above and beyond for her patients and their families. From staying with her patients after her shift to making sure their family members are being cared for. For instance, a patient on the unit had not been outside the hospital in several weeks. Terse came in on her day off, coordinated with the respiratory therapist, and took the patient outside in the Healing Gardens for the afternoon. She is currently initiating a preschool scholarship fund for a patient's young daughter. These are just a couple of examples of the care and dedication she brings to work every day. In my opinion Terese embodies everything the DAISY Award stand for.”
