Toni Frances Robinson

Toni Frances Robinson is the PCC for the OB unit and she always goes above and beyond what is expected to promote patient safety through efficiency of care, teamwork, loyalty, and dedication. 

Recently, Toni noticed that a patient did not have a ride home and was worried about the care of her other children at home.  Knowing that she was about to get off, Toni offered to take the patient home as soon as her shift was over at 7:00 a.m.  Because of Toni, this patient did not have to wait until her family member got off from work that afternoon, but instead, she was able to be home early enough to care for her other children and not have to worry about getting them to daycare. 

Another example of Toni’s dedication was recently witnessed during an emergency situation.  After leaving work on a recent morning, Toni was called back by the weekend day shift staff.  There was an emergency code on the L&D unit, and the staff needed Toni’s assistance.  Toni immediately returned to work to ensure that the staff had the support they needed.  After the emergency situation, she remained at work to be the shoulder that the staff needed to cry on.  Her compassion was the key to the weekend crew getting through that day and the entire weekend.
