Tonya Summe

I just wanted to say thank you to Tonya Summe for her excellent care of our loved one last week in ICU.  There is not a “Superstar” big enough to show how wonderful she was to all of us.  My close friend had a very bad stroke and had to be taken off the ventilator last week.  The family and I were absolutely devastated by the news as we thought he was going to improve.  Tonya showed such compassion, professionalism, knowledge and support for all of us and she even offered a shoulder to cry on.  That to me is what an outstanding nurse is. It is caring people like her that make me proud to be a part of the MVH family.  She truly is an exceptional woman who reached way above the stars to give our loved one and all of us the superior care we needed.

She truly deserves to be recognized for her excellent care to all of us in this sad and tragic time of our lives.
