Tyanna Gruenwald
Tyanna was nominated by an appreciative patient: I had a very successful double lung transplant at the U of I. First I was not the easiest patient to work with (Type AA personality J) but a fairly new nurse at that time named Ty took me on (why, I don’t know), but given the card she drew, she was incredible. To this day, I value her as a friend. She made a very positive difference in my overall recovery. I could never be grateful enough or tell her enough how much these 3 weeks meant to me. I wish her all the success and happiness in life. Ty truly made a difference in my life and I will never forget her!
