Veronica Maunz
Veronica has been working at Children’s since September of 2007. Her colleagues say that she is a very sweet, conscientious nurse and the families love her. Her nomination reads: “When our child was a patient on 9 North, Veronica went above and beyond to be sure he was OK. She wheeled him down to MRI (15 minutes after she was supposed to leave) and remained with him for close to an hour to help calm him down for the procedure. She is a wonderful nurse and person and beyond quality of care!” Congratulations to Veronica on being the winner of the DAISY Award!
