Wendy took the time to talk to me about my wife’s condition after her shift was over. Would look in on my wife more frequently than others. Massaged her feet. Would give me an unhurried, thorough report of overnight progress when I called in at 5:30 AM. She took me to the charge nurse when I was having issues about assigned hospitalists. Always willing to go extra step—never hurries you. She praises many of her co-workers to us so that we are at ease with whomever will be replacing her at shift change.
