Xiaoying Huang

Shar is a dedicated hardworking member of 3D and extended Providence Park team.  Shar is incredibly knowledgeable and makes sure her patients are educated in all aspects of their care.  Shar is a great resource to staff, goes out of her way to help new employees and is an important part of the orientation of graduate nurses.  Shar is always willing to come in and work when the hospital needs her – often working many shifts in a row to get what needs to be done accomplished.  Despite these extra hours Shar shows a positive attitude and the care of her patients is always excellent. 

Shar was recently seen drawing a diagram for her patient in order to help explain something the Physician had said that the patient was confused about.  The patient was so very grateful as she had been nervous to ask too many questions of the Physician but had been left with many concerns.  Shar was able to put the patient's mind at ease and help educate the patient and family of the procedure that had been performed.  It is these small yet important things that make Shar such a caring, compassionate, outstanding nurse.
