Alison O'Herlihy

“Every nurse I had during my 8-day stay in the hospital was wonderful.  The one nurse that stood apart was Alison O’Herlihy.  She told me that before each shift, while still at home, she prays for each patient of hers and that she be blessed to do the right thing in the care of each patient.  I was so taken by this.

Alison’s compassion and level of care was extraordinary.  Even though she had many patients, I felt like she was my private nurse.

Alison spent a lot of time with me telling me about healthy living.  I now have a whole list of things to change in my lifestyle.  So not only did I get Alison’s excellent care in the hospital, but my wife and I have adopted Alison’s life changing diet and lifestyle improvements.  Each day Alison would explain any procedures of changes in medicine that I was having.  I so appreciated being kept informed about my condition.

In short, I would have to say that Alison is the perfect nurse, exemplifying care and compassion and making patients feel special.”
