Anita Pascoal

Anita exemplifies excellence in all aspects of nursing and patient care. Anita works in Pediatric Specialty Clinic at Bascom and can practically runs the clinic on her own. Our clinic has over 20 providers covering 9 pediatric specialties. Anita handles the day to day clinic operation, supervises staff, rooms the patients, handles phone/walk in triages, follow-up with patients, prepares for emergency situations; there is nothing that she will not do and always seems to do it with care and precision. Families know that they can call her with any need because she will ensure that they are taken care of. I am amazed at how she can handle a triage phone call when a parent of a seizing child is so worried and doesn’t know what to do. She will provide step by step instructions and support and will track down the neurologist or corresponding specialist to get further instructions. She has a unique way of showing care and compassion with her patients.
