Anne Lancaster

The staff, especially nurse Anne gave my parents the encouragement they needed to make some very difficult decisions.  Nurse Anne spoke to my Grandma (her “Sassafras”) with dignity, respect and compassion.  She always made time for our needs and she always kept us well informed.  I will never forget the moments before Grandma was being transported to brain surgery… Grandma was frightened and slightly combative…My family was frightened and worried about the decisions we had made.  Ann looked my Grandma straight in her eyes and told her it was all going to be ok.  Her assurance was convincing and comforting to us all!  I cannot begin to express the gratitude we have for the nursing care that Ann provided, not only to my Grandma, but to my entire family.
