Becky Hardie

I would like to nominate my Vice President, Becky Hardie, Vice President of Andrews Women’s Hospital for the DAISY Award.

Becky Hardie holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing from TCU and a Masters in Health Care Administration from UTA. Becky was born and raised in Fort Worth and started her career at Harris Methodist. She is currently the Vice President of Women’s and Children’s for Andrews Women’s Hospital.

There is an immeasurable depth of admiration for Becky throughout our hospital. Becky started her career as a bedside nurse and while she is a VP, the bedside nurse still shines bright in her spirit. She develops policies and procedures that have the patient’s best interest at heart but also directs and protects the bedside nurse to do the right thing.

Becky is very well like amongst the staff. She knows most all of her staff by name and takes a personal interest in their life. Becky is most affable and approachable. She has an open door policy and the door is opened often if only to say hi from her staff.

Becky Hardie is also the executive chair of the Staff Nurse Council, a role she thoroughly enjoys. She also is the coordinator

Becky works tirelessly with the Tarrant County Public Health Department’s Infant Mortality Committee to reduce infant deaths. She also volunteers with the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Walk.

Becky is certified in Obstetrical Nursing. She is board certified in Nurse Executive Administration and was a 2007 Top 100 Nurse granted by the Texas Nurse Association.
