I delivered 4 weeks early and my daughter had some breathing issues.  She was admitted to the NICU.  On her 2nd day, her nurse was Carole.  We got off to a rocky start and my emotions were running high.  Carole took great care of my daughter.  I, on the other hand, was riding an emotional rollercoaster and Carole tried to reassure me everything would be fine.  On her 3rd day in the NICU, Carole suggested skin to skin.  After holding my daughter my milk came in, my anxiety and frustration disappeared.  Without Carole I don’t think I would have made it through my daughter’s time in the NICU!  Thanks Carole!
