Christine has helped me with these near code situations. My patient with COPD had lost a half liter of blood due to hemoptysis. The patient required oxygen via a face mask and stat CBS to be drawn by the nurse. In a similar situation, another patient had lost almost a liter of bright red blood per rectum. The patient needed a PICC line, multiple RN lab draws and was transferred to ICU. Christine is a senior clinical nurse with an MSN. She is extremely valuable to this floor. She will have her work covered and assist a co-worker in need (me) to stabilize a patient. Please recognize her graceful diligence.
