Cindy Stovall

My sixteen-year-old son, has had three procedures since 12/09/2010 for kidney stones.  Each time Cindy, with the red hair, has been one of our nurses.  Not only does she show compassion and caring towards him, but also she explains everything to us in detail and answers all of his questions (he asks many).

The night of our first procedure we were going to be getting home after 10pm.  We had been in the hospital for hours, I was really tired, my son was loopy, and we needed medicine.  Cindy was concerned that he should get his meds and went online to find the nearest pharmacy that was open 24 hours.  It all worked out in the end, and we really felt she went that extra mile.

Each time we are at the hospital she remembers us and all the details about my son, his job, how long he has worked, his interests, etc.  She is just really special and makes us feel special.

I almost forgot to mention that she is really funny, and laughter is the best medicine!
