Cliff was nominated By Dr. Bernard Jaar for his wonderful rapid response to patients with urgent dialysis needs in the ER and the ICU. One example: “He literally helped save the life of a patient that came to the ICU with a potassium of 9.4 and coded 3 times due to this. He responded very quickly to my request to initiate dialysis for the patient during the code. His attitude was exemplary, very professional while interacting with the rest of the code team who made room for him to install the dialysis system. At the end the patient survived this horrific event, thanks to Cliff.”
