DeAnna Gillespie
DeAnna is a wonderful example of a leader with compassion and a love of nursing. During the Bastrop fires, while her own home was not “out of the woods,” she coordinated efforts to get supplies to the families who lost their homes. She helped with the medical “tents” and took people and pets into her home that had been displaced. Her leadership and compassion extended beyond the ED. I am always happy to work with her and honored to call her my co-worker. She makes me proud and brings the ED into a positive light.
