Deborah Griffin

I want to nominate Deborah Griffin for the DAISY Award. Deborah gives thorough and professional care to every patient she visits as well as provide complete and comprehensive instruction for diabetes. For example: dietary instruction, medications, preparation administration of insulin, oral hypoglycemia, ER measure and signs and symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia, and levels of blood sugars to maintain. She also contacts vendor pharmacy for supplies.

Deborah treats the entire patient addressing and other medical areas such as cardiac, neuromuscular, wound, psychiatric, and social needs. She is in the field until evening time if needed by the patient and will also answer pages in the field from fellow RN and thus PRN visit immediately for urgent needs of patients.

Deborah truly gives above and beyond of herself with every patient. She is a dedicated diabetic nurse educator.
