Deborah Milley

Nurse Debbie Milley attended to my mother, and she was a “stand out” nurse in terms of professionalism and service. She was efficient and knowledgeable, despite having a full plate. She made my mother feel like a priority. She has an excellent bedside manner and is kind-natured, which creates a soothing environment for the patient. She makes this place look good and sets the standard expected at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. She notices everything around her and doesn’t ignore the patient in the other bed just because he/she is not her patient. She handles emergencies and calls the assigned nurse for them so they are not neglected, and that makes us all more comfortable. Other nurses wee see do not seem to notice like that. She’s not afraid to expend energy on that and loses no time, and everyone is then at ease, comfortable and happy. She is never seen standing around just being idle or chit-chatting like it’s “just a job”. She is always on the move, giving quality service. Great personal integrity and ethical, while on post, giving us all relief. Our family has noticed the contrast in superb care when Nurse Debbie is present. She acknowledges us and answers our questions in detail, so we all feel at ease and understand everything that is happening with our dear mother. Debbie is top-shelf quality every time we have had the pleasure of her service. The pride she takes and the professionalism with a heart she shows in her work. She is not here as often as we’d love, but her shifts are always so quality and worth 3 shifts each, and she alone is like having 3 nurses at the same time! God has blessed her to be a blessing and we thank her!
