Dianne Cox

Recently our son was hospitalized at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa. We had the privilege of having Dianne Cox as his nurse. Our son was admitted with pneumonia on Monday afternoon, complaining of pain so on Tuesday they did a cat-scan and discovered blood clots in his lung. Around midnight on Tuesday Dianne called and advised that our son was in uncontrollable pain, and that I might want to return back to the hospital. When I arrived our son was doubled over, Dianne already was making arrangements with the doctor to administer the right medications to get the pain under control. She was so compassionate and gentle with him that she was able to bring relief physically and emotionally. She stayed by his side until he was comfortable and resting. As a parent I was overwhelmed by her generosity and professionalism. We speak of her often with fondness and want to say thank you and that we are grateful.
