Dora Whitehead
Dora greets all of our patients with a smile and calm reassuring manner. Recently Dora went above and beyond by “staying with” a hearing impaired patient throughout her experience. Dora used her knowledge of sign language to help both the patient and family communicate with the patient care team. This demonstration of good assessment skills along with thoughtful intervention demonstrates Dora’s professional character. Patient and family expressed their appreciation for Dora. I feel that Dora is deserving of the DAISY Award. |
