“I was brought into the Emergency Department by Squad on May 21, 2011. I was in a state of confusion. As a patient and an employee in that department, you worry about your inner most secrets being revealed to everyone. Ellie, my nurse, was compassionate, caring and professional. She took excellent care of me and didn’t tell anyone why I was there. After I came back to work, she asked about me as a patient and a person. Her skills and personality make a difference to how people feel about their visit to the Emergency Department. She always introduces herself, and makes everyone feel better.”
