Franco Loren

Franco’s coworkers comments: 

Franco is always willing to do whatever it takes to get the task done. He will work in any department or come in for overtime if needed. He is a team player. 

Franco is an amazing nurse who cares about his patients and the quality of care he gives. He is a great team player and works well with all co-workers. He is patient and family oriented and puts them first at all times. He is truly deserving of this award. 

I have seen Franco at triage many times. We get many troubled and frightened patients here and he displays a genuine concern to these and all patients. He spends extra time with all patients and families to alleviate their fears. 

Franco always greets you with a smile followed by his cheery thick Australian accent. He is very professional and positive with patients. 

Franco is a fantastic all around nurse. He is compassionate with both patients and staff. Franco exhibits exemplary service in nursing with his knowledge base. He is very concerned about unit flow and proper protocol. Franco is definitely committed to excellence. He not only provides excellent care, he is a resource to his associates. Franco most definitely has a healing touch and deserves to be recognized for it. 

As a new member of the ED he made me feel welcome and a part of the team. He is able to teach me things and explain them in a way that fosters furthering my knowledge base. He is always able to make me smile despite my having a bad night. 

Franco consistently goes above and beyond to provide the highest quality nursing care. He’s always the first one to show up in a frightened patient’s room to brighten their day with extra warm blankets, applesauce and a cheery smile. He’s truly an inspiration to nurses everywhere. 

I have watched Franco be so compassionate to all patients. He is quick with a kind word and a reassurance for patients. Franco is always at the ready with a warm blanket, pillow and a cup of juice to comfort patients. He is an exemplary leader and deserves to be recognized as someone I’d like to emulate. I strive to live up to his lofty standards. 

Time and time again I have witnessed nurse Franco’s compassion, caring and warmth toward patients. Families have commented on the difference he makes and the extra time he takes with his patients providing a loving atmosphere in the ED. If my family or loved ones were ever sick I would want Nurse Franco as their provider.
