“Glenda has been an extraordinary L&D/Antepartum nurse for many years. Her patients, as well as her peers, love and appreciate her for her never changing, caring, dedication, and positive attitude in all that she does.  Her knowledge and experience is invaluable to our unit.  Glenda is well known for her respect of the “Earth” and love for humanity.  Glenda is a strong advocate for “going green”.  She encourages staff to recycle all the time.  For her long-term antepartum patients, she has brought in books, movies, treats, and even gives mini-massages.  Her patients constantly ask for her and look forward to her care.  The last extraordinary thing Glenda has done was taking time out of her schedule without pay to aide in Haiti!  Glenda is definitely a shining star whom exemplifies a modern yet traditional nurse!”
