Heather Einkauf

On June 9 I was a patient in Labor and Delivery. I had the pleasure of having Heather as my nurse. Heather was kind compassionate and an ultimate patient advocate. When the CNM wanted to send me home at 5-6cm dilated labor Heather took my past medical history into account and advocated for me. When my L&D ran later than her shift change Heather stayed late for my delivery. Providing excellent care throughout the process. Not only was she looking out for me as the patient she was looking out for her fellow co-workers on the night shift who were going to be short that night. Heather demonstrates all of JMC values and is very much deserving of this award. I say this as a patient, RN and JMC team member.
