Heather Peetz
Heather Peets is a registered nurse (RN) who practices on the 3 Surgery Unit. Heather is being honored with the DAISY Award for being very knowledgeable and compassionate when providing patient care. Her DAISY Award nomination reads “My son was hospitalized after having his tonsils removed. I was very concerned about the fact that he was still refusing food and water, and no family was available to relieve me. Heather offered to sit and comfort my son, so I could go outside to calm down. I wouldn’t have made it another day without her.”
