Jackie Allen
Jackie Allen, RN, was recently presented with Carroll Hospital Center’s July DAISY Award. A nurse at the hospital since 2009, Allen was honored for her compassionate care of not only a patient but also the patient’s wife when she assisted her in leaving the hospital after visiting her ill husband.
“This was yet another example of Jackie’s compassion for others. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure her patients and even visitors receive quality care which is why she is very deserving of this award,” Stephanie Reid, RN, BSN, MBA., chief nursing officer and assistant vice president of nursing, said.
