Jennifer Sickmiller

My family and I met Jen on the worst day of our lives and she was truly extraordinary.  My dad was only in the MICU for two days and she was compassionate toward not only my dad but our whole family as well.  She spoke from the heart not just as a medically trained person.  She ensured our dad's passing was peaceful and painless form him.  She was exceptionally empathetic in the worst of times.  While the doctors were making us question our decision, she helped us hold true to dad's wishes to not suffer further without judgement.

We are very lucky to have met Jen and experienced the comfort of her services to my dad and family.  We are eager to nominate Jen for a DAISY Award as we feel she embodies the essence of the Award as an outstanding caregiver.
