Jennifer is by far the most caring, loving, involved, and brilliant nurse I have ever encountered. When my daughter was born premature at 35 weeks on October 12, 2011, Jennifer quickly became our favorite and most trusted nurse. Never before have I ever seen a nurse be more compassionate and thoughtful as well as extremely gifted in her field. Not only do we view her as our daughter's guardian angel, but as a forever member of our family. I will never forget how her sharp eye was always able to detect what our preemie needed (and did not need). She was a trusted "substitute" mom, as I had to leave my sweet baby behind a great deal in order to share my time with my other daughter who is 8 years old and lives over an hour away from the hospital. Jennifer not only provided expert nursing care, she truly loved our newborn. She even took time to call me at home to update me and check on me. Jennifer is the type of nurse this award was made for. I am sure there are several who qualify, but Jennifer is truly a blessing from the Lord and will never be erased from my memory. God bless her for being everything and more than we could ever have asked for in a nurse to care for our sweet little girl. I wish we could do more for her!
