Jenny McCauley

Jenny McCauley is congratulated by Mary Stowe, RN, MS, NEA-BC, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer.

Jenny is an exceptional nurse and individual. She has been a nurse serving Children's Medical Center for seven years. In her seven years, she has risen to the top exemplifying superb clinical expertise and critical thinking skills in an ever changing neonatal/pediatric transport environment. Her clinical judgment and skills are exuded on every transport she leads.

In 2010, she spoke at the National Air Medical Conference in Florida presenting a congenital heart case study that her and her partners resuscitated at a referral hospital and provided extraordinary care to get them safely transferred to CMC to have a life saving surgery. The first week in January 2011, Jenny was offered the opportunity to go on a medical mission to Haiti. She is constantly seeking missions to make life better for children.

She is a compassionate caregiver and is passionate about her life's calling as a nurse. We are proud to nominate Jenny McCauley for the first DAISY Award.
