July 2011 - Jesse Paul Jesse has been my son’s nurse for the last 2 1/2 years and she has ALWAYS been available when I have needed her. Nearly every time I place a phone call to Jesse she actually answers the phone! I really appreciate this about Jesse. Not only does she answer the phone but she promptly gets back with me with information regarding my son’s treatment and Jesse followed up with me immediately (she knew I was very upset) and referred us out to another doctor to determine my son’s situation. I became so engrossed in my son’s new situation that I did not call Jesse for quite some time. Since she did not hear from me she actually called ME wanting to know how my son was doing! How many nurses go to the extra mile for their patients and actually care? Well, I believe Jesse does and it is apparent by the way she treats her patients. She is the best clinical nurse we have ever had. Because of her compassion and caring and great work ethic, I believe Jesse meets the criteria for the DAISY Award. Please consider Jesse for the DAISY Award because it is the nurses and staff that add to the success of the doctors they serve.
