Jessica Finney

Jessica Finney BSN, RN was recognized for exemplary care provided to one of her patients suffering from post-operative abdominal complications. Her management of the child’s pain, continuous monitoring of the patient’s hemodynamic status, and on-going communication with the physician and family throughout the course of this crisis exemplified the great strength and caring of the TCU nursing team.

With this extra care she ensured that the patient received the medical management needed in a timely manner while meeting the patient & family needs for communication and consolation.

Advocating for her patients, assessing her patient’s likes and dislikes, and communicating these to the health care team are additional ways that Jessica establishes a special professional connection with patients and families.  She is skilled in blending the medical treatment plan along with the Art of Nursing in her care.
