Jo Ford

Jo Ford was extremely compassionate during our first visit.  As worried parents we were immediately at ease because of Jo's calming influence and interaction with our  2 year old daughter.  She kept our daughter happy and entertained during our visit and we were able to discuss a very long and complex medical history with the doctor.  Our visit was planned for the CCED clinic but our schedule was changed because of the other medical matters.  Jo was able to work us in and give us appointments and information for the many specialists we saw.  This included Rheumatology, Dermatology, Neurology, Genentics and HemOnc.  Jo remained in constant contact with us, giving information for these appointments, locations, etc.  She also gave us detailed instructions for the many lab tests our daughter was required to have.  Even with the short notice, all of our appts were smooth with little or no waiting time.  The lab and specialists were completely informed about our daughter and they had all of the information they needed.  If we had any questions, we were able to reach Jo and she was always willing to answer our questions and offer reassurance.  She made a difficult week run efficiently and was an amazing advocate for our family.  We have been to several hospitals in the south and we have never received such wonderful care. I cannot say enough about this wonderful and organized nurse.  She is AMAZING!
