Josephine Sioson

We, as a team (16 coworkers), wish to nominate Josephine Sioson for a DAISY Award.  We each have individual stories of examples of great patient care that Josephine delivers but have decided to put it all into one nomination from our entire team.

Josephine has been committed to providing the best patient care possible, always working diligently and humbly with compassion and never complaining about her workload as the triage vital signs nurse in the Orthopedic clinic.  Josephine would manage to screen every single patient that visited the clinic in one busy day – sometimes up to or over 100 patients!  She never omitted any steps in the process.  Not only did she assess and perform vital signs, but she has been recognized for her exceptional efforts in updating and documenting the patient’s allergy status.  Even after she has finished screening the patients, you will find Josephine popping in to the clinic to offer her assistance.

We all appreciate Josephine’s hard work, commitment as a team member and for always treating all patients with dignity, respect, with a smile on her face.  Keeping patients safe, using the correct identification method and communicating well in Arabic.  She is our vital signs/triage nurse expert!
