Judy Wright

Judy works in the Medical/Surgical Department and has been treating inpatients and transitional care patients for the past six years. She was nominated by a patient’s family member that observed her nursing skills and ability to teach others in a caring and compassionate manner.

“Judy had taken the time to teach me the tube feeding for my husband. She is so compassionate, kind and knows her job well. I am so thankful that we had her as our nurse.”

Judy said, “I enjoy the patient and family interaction, and it is what makes my job so special.” She admits that she wasn’t expecting to receive the DAISY Award but is very pleased to know that what she does makes a difference in her patients’ and their families lives.
